_PAST   YOHJI YAMAMOTO   002/04.15

<< In the words of Yohji Yamamoto, museums are where fashion goes to die. For Yohji Yamamoto Showspace, curator Jeff Horsley chose to display over 60 pieces by Yamamoto on both mannequins and live models. This contemporary interpretation of a couture salon was both a reminder of clothing’s natural connection to the moving body and a commentary on the unfortunate inertia of traditional archive culture.
