LIVE ARCHIVES is an archive in motion; past, present and future. As a curated space outside the established institution, we challenge not only the idea of how fashion is shown, but how it is owned, collected and recorded.

We held our first events in east London in 2015 in collaboration with vintage boutique and private archive STRUT LONDON, combining our background as creative consultants with their collection of directional pre-owned clothing. Along with photographers JAMES ARI KING, PAULINA OTYLIE SURYS, stylist Amanda Hanson and curator and exhibition maker JEFF HORSLEY, we explored new angles in past season fashion and redefined what an archive can be for the industry.

We believe that the past is integral in informing the sustainable future of fashion. And that in a socially responsible economy, the future has the power to augment the past. Over the coming year, we will reveal a programme of events and new digital and physical resources for collectors and enthusiasts of directional design.
